FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used to improve the tribological characteristics of lubricants. A tribological composition is proposed, containing a finely dispersed mixture of natural minerals, including serpentine, chalk, borax, kaolin and talc, to which molybdenum disulfide and boron nitride are added, and a mixture of a binder - synthetic oil and melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin in the following ratio of components, wt.%: chalk 0.12÷0.16; borax 0.12÷0.16; kaolin 0.08÷0.14; talc 0.05÷0.09; molybdenum disulfide 0.02÷0.03; boron nitride 0.02÷0.04; serpentine 0.49÷0.51; melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin 1.68÷1.87; synthetic oil - the rest up to 100%.
EFFECT: significant reduction in wear, which confirms the almost complete absence of loss of metal mass in the contact friction pair.
