SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the manufacture of current collector elements. Sintered material contains a sintered mixture impregnated with oil with ultra-dispersed diamonds, consisting of granules containing copper and graphite, fibers and filaments of carbon, ultra-dispersed diamonds, iron powders, graphite, copper hardened with chromium cast iron, schungite, intercalation compounds of molybdenum disulfide and hardening-alloying components. Method for producing the sintered material comprises granulation of a mixture of powders containing graphite and copper powders to obtain granules of 0.4–2.0 mm in size, after which the charge is prepared by mixing the obtained granules with a mixture of the remaining components of the material at granules-to-mixture ratio of 1:50-1:3. Then, the resulting charge is formed, sintered and impregnated with oil with ultra-dispersed detonation diamonds. Current collector element comprises a carrier element with a working layer of sintered material.

EFFECT: low specific resistivity, high electrical conductivity, high self-lubricating ability, increased wear resistance and mechanical strength and low coefficient of friction are provided.
