FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to methods for reproduction of poultry in automatic incubators. The temperature sensor is placed on the rack for mounting, along the trays with hatching eggs, directly in the area of incubation at a distance of not more than 50 mm from the roof of the incubation chamber so that it does not touch the shell of the hatching eggs. A protective casing is installed, which is made in form of a hemisphere and has its concave part aligned against the temperature sensor, so that there is a gap between the concave part of the protective casing and the temperature sensor, cutting off the air flow coming from the fan. The temperature sensor is connected via cable to the automatic control system. The rack for mounting the temperature sensor and the protective cover are made of plastic. The height of the protective casing is not more than 130 mm.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the reliability of taking temperature readings in an incubation chamber.
