FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: pneumatic seed treater is proposed, including a housing mounted on a frame, in the upper part of which there is a receiving hopper with a seed flow regulator, a levelling valve, a tank, a pump, a fan, and the treatment chamber is equipped with an upper hatch on which sprayers are installed, and in the lower part of the housing suction tube installed. The treater body is made in the form of a half circle of pipe, additionally equipped with a lower hatch having rectangular holes in which gratings and confusers are installed. The distance between the centres of the holes in the lower hatch and the centres of the nozzles is twice the pitch of the width of the holes. The centres of the nozzles are shifted relative to the centres of the holes of the lower hatch up along the axis of the body by a distance equal to the value of one step of the width of the lower hole.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of work on preparing seeds for sowing.
