FIELD: wind speed control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in wind power and other industrial installations for emergency automation and warning alarms. The device is made in the form of a weather vane with a lever fixed to the device by means of a cylindrical hinge, the axis of which is shifted relative to the shaft axis by a certain distance and is located in a horizontal plane perpendicular to the plane of the weather vane; at the end of the lever, an element in the form of a hollow ball is installed to perceive wind pressure, and the angle of rotation of the lever is limited by stops in the upper half-plane within the angle of inclination to the horizon from α1 to α2 with an inclination in the direction opposite to the vane shank, and the magnet is rigidly connected to the lever so that at the maximum angle α2 of the lever, it comes into magnetic interaction with a reed switch mounted on the upper end of the shaft.
EFFECT: increase in the performance properties of the wind speed relay.
