FIELD: biotechnology; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a new method for diagnosing acute leukaemia, based on identifying the mRNA of the WT1, HMGA2 and EVI1 genes in a patient during screening testing and identifying RNA transcripts fused during chromosomal translocations of the PICALM-MLLT10, TEL-AML, PML-RARα, AML-ETO, MLL-AF4, MLL-AF6, MLL-AF9, MLL-AF10, MLL-ENL, CBFB-MYH11, BCR-ABL (p190, p210, p230) genes using a multiplex real-time RT-PCR reaction for clarifying test. The proposed method requires minimal labour, time, materials and reagents.
EFFECT: invention can be applicable in onco-haematology, it allows, within one working day, to accurately identify a molecular genetic variant of leukaemia in a patient and create a test for individual monitoring of the disease.
