FIELD: agriculture; drainage; irrigation reclamation.
SUBSTANCE: drainage and irrigation system includes irrigation fields, a storage pond that serves as a water level regulator, irrigation collectors with zero bottom slopes, which allows them to be used in a dual direction: accumulating water for irrigating crops and at the same time they work as dryers, collecting excess drainage water, sprinklers, a control channel, a main pipeline connected to a pumping station, double-acting retaining control structures. The storage pond is hydraulically connected through a regulating channel to irrigation collectors to ensure regulation of the water level in them. Irrigation collectors are arranged along the contours of the fields to drain excess surface runoff by gravity. In the mouth areas of the irrigation collectors, double-acting retaining control structures are installed, which provide the ability to turn off the irrigation collectors that are not in use during irrigation. The bottom of the storage pond is located below the bottom marks of the irrigation collectors. The proposed system allows to collect and accumulate drainage water during periods of excess accumulation in the drained area. If moisture deficit occurs in the root layer of the soil, the accumulated water may be used for irrigation.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of water resource.
