FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to fiber-optic devices for measuring acceleration and vibration. The proposed miniature fiber-optic acceleration sensor based on a Fabry-Pérot resonator includes a metal membrane, which is a mass suspended above the base. A Fabry-Pérot resonator is formed between the end of the optical fiber and the suspended mass.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity to acceleration.
