FIELD: fibre-optic technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic technologies, in particular to a fibre-optic Fabry-Perot interferometer. Device of the fibre-optic Fabry-Perot interferometer includes two collimating structures with resonator mirrors, which are coaxially arranged and spaced apart along the optical axis, with an air cavity between them, each of which includes coaxially connected optical fibre and a lens. Said structures are arranged in the tooling, and in each of them the optical fibre is coaxially connected to the gradient lens, which is a section of the multimode gradient optical fibre, optical fibre and gradient lens are connected to each other by ends by electric arc welding and rigidly fixed in filled with adhesive tooling, and the opposite polished end of the gradient lens with a reflecting coating on it forms the reflecting surface of the interferometer resonator. Diameters of the quartz cladding of the connected optical fibre and the multimode gradient optical fibre correspond to each other.

EFFECT: device provides higher visibility of interference pattern due to minimization of insertion losses during propagation of optical radiation in air cavity of resonator.
