FIELD: converter technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to create small-sized and energy-efficient multi-level boost DC voltage regulators. The adjustable step-up DC voltage converter contains input, output and common terminals for connecting, respectively, a constant voltage source and an output capacitor, n circuits, each consisting of a series-connected charging diode, a capacitor, a reactor and a charging switch, and the anodes of the charging diodes of the second and subsequent circuits are connected to input, and the second terminals of the charging keys of all circuits - to the common terminal of the converter. The converter also contains (n-1) bit switches, each of which is connected between the connection point of the reactor and the charging key of the previous circuit and the connection point of the charging diode and capacitor of the subsequent circuit, a bit switch connected between the input terminal and the connection point of the reactor and the charging key of the last circuit, a discharge diode connected between the point of connection of the charging diode with the capacitor of the first circuit and the output terminal. The proposed converter includes a two-level pulse-width constant voltage regulator, connected between the input terminal of the converter and the anode of the charging diode of the first circuit.
EFFECT: improvement in the weight and size parameters of the converter by simplifying its power circuit.
