FIELD: conversion equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of conversion equipment and can be used in the creation of small-sized and energy-efficient step-up converters, which are able to perform not only the function of converting the output voltage of several alternative sources of constant voltage, which are different in output parameters, but also ensure the summation of their capacities in the total load. Power summing DC voltage step-up converter comprises output and common terminals for connection of output capacitor and load connected in parallel, constant voltage source, the negative terminal of which is connected to the common terminal of the converter, n chains, each consisting of a series-connected charging diode, a capacitor, reactor and charging switch, which second terminal is connected to common terminal of converter, (n-1) bit switches, each of which is connected between the connection point of the reactor and the charging switch of the previous chain and the connection point of the charging diode and the capacitor of the next chain, discharge switch connected between the positive terminal of the constant voltage source and the connection point of the reactor and the charging switch of the last chain, discharge diode connected between the point of connection of the charging diode with the capacitor of the first chain and the output terminal. Into the step-up converter there are additional sources of constant voltage, the negative terminals of which are also connected to the common terminal, and positive terminals of all DC voltage sources to anodes of charging diodes of corresponding chains.

EFFECT: energy-efficient conversion of output voltages of several alternative sources of constant voltage with different output parameters and addition of their capacities in common load.
