FIELD: converting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device contains input, output and common terminals for connection of direct current source and load, respectively, one circuit connected between input and common terminals, consisting of series-connected charging switch, capacitor, throttle, discharge diode, a charging diode connected between the connection point of the throttle, the discharge diode and the output terminal, a discharge switch connected between the connection point of the charging switch and the upper terminal of the capacitor of the chain and the output terminal, load connected between common and output terminals, consisting of parallel connected resistor and capacitor. An additional switch is introduced, which is connected between the connection point of the charging switch, the capacitor of the chain, the discharge switch and the connection point of the throttle, the discharge diode and the charging diode.
EFFECT: providing smooth control of output voltage of a step-down DC converter in a wide range with fewer elements and availability of one resonant circuit.
