SUBSTANCE: shedding mechanism of a weaving machine is claimed, in which the mechanism for horizontal movement of the rods is made in the form of paired contacting belt drives with half-holes in the belts, which are made at equal distance and form holes in the contact zone of the belts for the possibility of horizontal movement of rods with eyes at the heels, which are rigidly fixed on them. On the upper bar of the first harness frame A there is an upper paired contacting belt drive, which is configured to move the holes from right to left, and on the lower bar of the second harness frame B there is a lower paired contacting belt drive, which is configured to move the holes from the left to the right, while the shedding mechanism is equipped with rotating devices for moving the rods along a closed contour, with one rotating device located between the first and second harness frames on one side, and a second rotating device located between the first and second harness frames on the other side, with the holes in the upper paired contacting belt drive are shifted in the horizontal plane relative to the holes of the lower paired contacting belt drive, to increase the strength of the triaxial fabric by increasing the number of connections of the warp threads with each other and with the weft threads across the entire width of the woven fabric.

EFFECT: increased strength of the triaxial fabric by increasing the number of connections of the warp threads with each other and with the weft threads across the entire width of the woven fabric.
