FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods of operating paired wells producing high-viscosity oil using steam-gravity stimulation (SG) technology. A method for operating paired wells producing high-viscosity oil, including the construction of a grid of paired wells on a section consisting of a horizontal injection well and a production well located below and parallel to the injection well in the productive formation. Before the start of industrial production, the steam breakthrough temperature is determined in each paired well by pumping steam into the injection well and maximizing production by pump from the producing well with temperature control at the wellhead. When the product temperature increases by at least 10°C, the maximum temperature is recorded with a fiber optic cable in the production well, which is taken as the steam breakthrough temperature, after which the volume of injected steam is reduced until the established pump operating mode is obtained based on thermobaric studies. When the optimal parameters in one production well change, an adjacent horizontal production well in this area is selected, in which the water cut should be 70–90%, the liquid flow rate should be at least 70 t/day, and the liquid temperature at the wellhead should be 90–100°C, and a pipeline is assembled in the annular line of a paired horizontal well from the mouth of an adjacent production well when the temperature at one of the intervals of the production well reaches 90–95% of the steam breakthrough temperature. The selection of products is gradually increased from an adjacent production well with injection into the annulus of a horizontal well. In this case, the pressure of pumping formation water from an adjacent production well into the annulus at the mouth of a horizontal well should not exceed the maximum pressure to maintain the integrity of the reservoir seal. After reducing the temperature of the product at the pump intake by 5–10°C, the injection using the annular line of the wellhead fittings of the injection well is stopped.
EFFECT: ensuring the alignment of the front of steam displacement from a paired injection well to a production well with practical preservation of oil production volumes and guaranteed exclusion of steam breakthrough into the production well.
