SUBSTANCE: elastic gasket in the form of a sleeve is designed to be attached to an element of the air channel of the breast pump and to be in contact with the breast of the breast pump user. The elastic pad contains a section facing the chest on one side and a pumping section on the other side. The pump section includes a contact surface that is configured to contact the surface of the air channel element. The elastic gasket is also configured to deform from the initial configuration to the final configuration under the influence of reduced pressure acting on the elastic gasket from the side of the pump section. The elastic pad includes a stretch section in a position between the chest section and the pump section. The stretch section has one or more folded regions allowing the stretch section to deform under said influence of reduced pressure acting on the resilient pad between the more compact configuration and the more straightened configuration. The elastic pad and breast pump assembly and breast pump options are disclosed.
