FIELD: gas purification.
SUBSTANCE: technology for industrial purification of hydrocarbon natural gases from hydrogen sulphide that can be used in oil production, oil refining, petrochemical and chemical industries. A method for purifying natural and associated petroleum gas containing hydrogen sulphide includes the following steps: taking gas samples to determine the hydrogen sulphide content; mixing a gas containing hydrogen sulphide and a hydrogen sulphide neutralizer before entering the mixing apparatus by spraying an excess amount of hydrogen sulphide neutralizer relative to hydrogen sulphide through a nozzle into the gas stream; supplying a tangential gas-liquid mixture into the mixing apparatus, while the gas-liquid mixture moves along the outer pipe channel with diffuser-confuser sections from top to bottom in a spiral, passing at least four diffuser-confuser sections, while the number of sections can be increased in proportion to the height of the mixing apparatus depending on gas consumption; removal of the spent neutralizer to a storage tank; removal of purified gas through an internal channel located along the axis of the mixing apparatus, with an ascending flow into the main gas pipeline line. The invention ensures that the concentration of hydrogen sulphide in hydrocarbon natural gases meets the requirements of “ТР ЕАЭС 046/2018” for combustible natural gas treated for transportation through main gas pipelines, up to a residual content according to the indicator “Mass concentration of hydrogen sulphide” of no more than 0.007 g/m3, reducing the metal intensity of the treatment plant and the absence of stages of recycling and regeneration of spent hydrogen sulphide neutralizer. The effect is achieved by creation of a developed interphase surface and intensive turbulent mixing of the gas-liquid mixture in a mixing apparatus with diffuser-confuser sections.
EFFECT: intensified mass transfer and high-quality gas purification from hydrogen sulphide.
