FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method obtaining endo-tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene, which can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and in the production of high-energy fuels. This method involves the interaction of dicyclopentadiene with molecular hydrogen when heated in a flow-type reactor in the presence of a catalyst in the form of nickel nanoparticles immobilized on a carrier. In this case, dicyclopentadiene and molecular hydrogen are supplied directly to the catalyst in two streams. Porous granules are used as a carrier of nickel nanoparticlesγ-Al2O3 coated with cerium dioxide, hydrogen is supplied at a flow rate of 2200-3300 l/(lcat⋅h), dicyclopentadiene - with a weight rate of 6.91-10.37 h-1, and the reaction is carried out at 100°C.
EFFECT: increase in the reaction yield, a decrease in the process temperature and the conditional residence time of the components in the reactor.
