FIELD: catalytic chemistry
SUBSTANCE: catalyst for the selective hydrogenation of dicyclopentadiene in the form of nanostructured metal particles immobilized on aluminum oxide is characterized in that its gamma modification is used as aluminum oxide, and copper particles obtained by reduction with a 10 wt.% solution of sodium tetrahydroborate in distilled water at 60°C are used as metal particles of the complex compound, solvate aqua-di-(furan-2-carboxylate-O)-di-(imidazole)copper(II) with acetonitrile or aqua-di-(furan-3-carboxylate-O)-di-(imidazole)copper (II) printed onγ -Al2O3 impregnated with 1 wt.% solution of copper complex in distilled water or ethyl alcohol.
EFFECT: new effective hydrogenation catalyst with increased specific productivity.
