FIELD: medicine; transplantology.
SUBSTANCE: rabbit's uterus is removed along with the uterine arteries and ovarian veins. After isolating the great vessels, an ultrasound examination with Doppler ultrasonography of the uterine arteries and ovarian veins is performed. If the diameter of the ovarian veins is at least 1 mm, there is no of aplasia, vascular hypoplasia or signs of thrombosis, the uterus is removed. If the diameter of the ovarian veins is less than 1 mm, there is aplasia, or vascular hypoplasia, a decision is made not to remove the uterus.
EFFECT: method reduces the risk of postoperative complications such as thrombosis.
