FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: ventilation systems for underground mine workings, in particular, equipment for subway tunnels, namely, ventilation fire dampers, designed to control the volume of air entering the tunnels, to prevent the spread of combustion products of fire and in case of fire. The fire ventilation damper of an underground working contains a support frame made of horizontally located monolithic beams and vertical posts rigidly connected to the beams. Beams and posts are located at the edges of the valve and are attached to the walls of the tunnel. The leaf is hinged on the support frame. The closing-opening mechanism is mechanically connected to the leaf and the support frame. The joint for sealing the gap between the leaf and the support frame with the leaf closed is made in the form of an annular seal, consisting of two longitudinal parts of an elastic fire-retardant profile. A rigid shoulder is installed between the profile parts, placed between the approaching surfaces of the leaf and the support frame when the damper is closed. The damper leaf consists of a frame surrounded from the inside and outside by heat-insulating material, a protective casing made of metal sections, connected step by step to the edges of the frame.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the damper by blocking the gap between the support frame and the leaf.
