FIELD: radar measuring systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measuring the movement parameters of high-speed air objects over long distances. The claimed method uses radio pulses of the same duration with filling in the form of single-tone frequency modulation with modulation indices equal to: , and respectively for the first, second and third measuring channels. The duration of the probing pulses is chosen equal to the period of the modulating oscillation. After receiving the reflected signal, converting and amplifying it, it is fed to a phase detector and, filtering out high-frequency components, two quadrature signals are isolated. These signals are converted into a sequence of digital samples, from which data blocks are formed using a sliding window with a duration equal to the duration of the probing pulse. At the moment of detection of the trailing edge of the radio pulse, using the principle of optimal reception, the distance to the tracking object is determined and the measuring channel is identified by the shape of the signal spectra. The radial velocity is determined by the generalized phase delay of the main harmonic components of the signal relative to the reference signals.
EFFECT: ensuring reliable identification of probing pulses of the corresponding measuring channels and increasing the accuracy of radial velocity measurement.
