FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the construction of buildings and structures on foundations in which a layer of soft soil is present at a certain depth. The method of securing weak soil at the base of a foundation slab includes excavating a pit, drilling process wells through a sand cushion to the bottom of the weak soil layer and securing weak soil through process wells using the jet grouting method with the formation of soil-concrete elements from the bottom up. Fastening is stopped when the upper ends of the soil concrete elements have not reached the sand cushion, and the distance from the upper ends of these elements to the sand cushion is set to vary depending on the loads acting on the foundation slab and is determined by calculation using numerical modelling.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of securing weak soil at the base of the foundation slab, ensuring uniform settlement of the base and reducing bending moments occurring in the slab.
