CORRECTION METHOD OF INCLINATION AND NON-UNIFORM SETTLEMENT OF LARGE HIGH-RISE STRUCTURE AND ITS FOUNDATION Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC E02D37/00

Abstract RU 2436899 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: correction method of inclination and non-uniform settlement of large high-rise structure and its foundation involves geodetic measurements of the structure, determination of angle and orientation of inclination of the structure, well drilling and monitoring of inclination reduction of high-rise structure. Well drilling is performed on opposite side of inclination of the structure for batched water feed and soil humidity rise under the edge of foundation in order to reduce its strength properties. Solid reinforced concrete framework fixed by means of anchors on the structure foundation is manufactured. Pile foundation is made by means of nonimpact method and solid reinforced concrete framework is made along piles in order to provide the stop and further installation of hydraulic equipment for force application to solid reinforced concrete framework made on the structure's foundation. Soil humidity is increased by means of batched water feed to wells and strength and deformation characteristics under the foundation edge are decreased. By using hydraulic jacks and screw stabilising systems there performed is small-step lifting of one edge of foundation, thus determining the settlement of opposite non-fixed edge due to change of stress and strain state of soil foundation. Reduction of the structure's inclination is monitored in two mutually perpendicular directions by means of transit compasses and level unit. Inclination is corrected to the specified value considering further possible reduction owing to additional settlement of non-fixed edge of foundation. Upon completion of calculation period of foundation settlements there performed is its final fixation by replacing screw systems with solid concrete.

EFFECT: improvement of reliability, service life, stability of the structure, duration of operating characteristics of buildings and structures, reduction of labour intensity and power consumption.
