FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydrodynamic liquid separator consisting of a base/frame, a separation device for separating a liquid phase from a formation gas, which includes a cylindrical housing with drainage channels, a separation element and a perforated section are sequentially located inside the housing. Separating element is divided into segments, the internal flow section of the device is a Venturi tube, on the outer side of the segments there are springs supported on the housing, the separation element is made with possibility of changing the internal flow section due to movement of the segments in the direction of the inner part of the housing. Before the separation element there is an inlet flow swirler containing shaped blades, and the separation element has a baffle located at the inlet, at the same time the shaped blades and the baffle plate are made flexible. Invention also relates to a separation device and a method for separating a gas-liquid mixture.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of gas-liquid separator and method of separation of liquid phase from gas-liquid medium, as well as increased efficiency of separation of liquid phase from gas-liquid medium of separation device with possibility of passage of cleaning and diagnostics means (CDM) through pipeline, on which separation device is installed.
