FIELD: hydroacoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention serves to enable exchange of data under water between an autonomous unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) and a measuring station (mooring device) at an arbitrary relative position in the horizontal plane of their longitudinal axes. According to the proposed method for two-way data transmission under water at an arbitrary relative position in the horizontal plane of the longitudinal axes of the measuring station and the UUV, two loop magnetic antennas are used both at the measuring station and on the UUV, the longitudinal axes of which are mutually perpendicular, in this case, the antennas of both the measuring station and the UUV in transmission mode are excited by modulated carrier signals, shifted relative to each other by 90°, which causes the propagation of an alternating magnetic field of circular polarization, both from the measuring station to the UUV, and vice versa, and on the other side the modulated signal is received by only one antenna.
EFFECT: provision feedback between devices when they are arbitrarily positioned in a horizontal plane.
