FIELD: protecting valuable products from counterfeiting.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a method for forming a mark to protect valuable products from counterfeiting. The security mark is produced by direct laser-induced transfer by irradiating a silicon film 30-100 nm thick with an energy density in the range of 0.8-4.0 J/cm2. At the same time, informative features of the security mark are recorded and entered into the database in the form of a microphotograph, scattering and Raman spectra, the values of the matrix elements of the position and colours of nanoparticles in the microphotograph, relative spatial and chromatic coordinates, as well as the degree of crystallinity of silicon nanoparticles. Analysis of the optical response is carried out by sequentially fixing a microphotograph of the protective mark on the product in the dark field geometry, scattering spectra and Raman scattering.
EFFECT: increase of the number of unique controllable features of the mark and increase of reliability of protection against counterfeiting and copying of valuable products.
