Pyroxylin powder for loading hunting and sporting cartridges of 7.62×63 calibre contains high-nitrogen pyroxylin, diphenylamine, graphite as an antistatic additive, residual technological components in the form of volatile substances that can be removed by drying, and volatile substances that cannot be removed. The powder grain is shaped like a cylinder with one channel. Powder grains in a powder charge are uniform in geometric dimensions. The thickness of the burning arch is not less than 0.50 and not more than 0.55 mm, the diameter is not less than 0.16 and not more than 0.25 mm, the length is not less than 1.15 and not more than 1.45 mm. It contains TGM-3 oligoester acrylate as a phlegmatizer, includes potassium sulphate as a blow-forming agent and flame-extinguishing agent, and nitroglycerin, which acts as both an energy and a plasticizing additive. The content of gunpowder components is as follows, wt.%: diphenylamine 1.0-1.6, volatile substances removed by drying 0.9-1.8, volatile substances not removed by drying no more than 0.9, graphite no more than 0.4, potassium sulphate no more than 0.5, nitroglycerin 3.0-5.5, TGM-3 oligoester acrylate 2.0-3.5, pyroxylin VA - the rest.

EFFECT: invention ensures an increase in the level of industrial safety in the manufacture, transportation, storage and use of gunpowder, a reduction in the amount of harmful and highly toxic components in the composition of gunpowder, and a reduction in the muzzle flame.
