SUBSTANCE: device for sampling chopped straw from combine harvesters contains a cassette with rectangular collections located in tiers and fixed in it, and a mechanism for unloading the collections onto the soil surface. The length of the collectors, made in the form of containers in the form of a flat composite frame made of pipes with a blade attached to it, is determined by the width of the header. The bottom of the tier collection at the rear is equipped with sharp spikes. The mechanism for unloading the collections ensures their one-time, sequential installation into a working position on the soil surface by connecting them to each other using flexible connections of equal size and is controlled remotely.

EFFECT: implementation of sampling of crushed straw along the swath width distributed by the straw chopper-spreader of a combine harvester is ensured, as well as a simplified design to facilitate transportability and increase the reliability of the device.
