SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of preparing bactericidal materials for respiratory protection equipment, in particular. Bactericidal materials for respiratory protection products are produced on the basis of a metal-organic frame of the generally accepted formula HKUST-1 and filter products. Processing of filter products made from natural and synthetic woven and non-woven materials is carried out with a reaction solution containing a copper salt and benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid in the presence of a mixed solvent containing water. Copper nitrate of the formula Cu(NO3)2 is used as a copper salt×3H2O at a concentration of 10–30 mmol/l. A mixture of water and isopropanol is used as a solvent at a volume ratio of 1:3, respectively. Benzene-1,3,5–tricarboxylic acid is used at a concentration of 5–15 mmol/l. The processing is performed under microwave activation conditions with radiation power up to 200 Watts and a frequency of 2.45 GHz at a temperature of 80°C for 10 minutes.

EFFECT: process is simplified and the duration of its implementation is reduced.
