FIELD: radio engineering; antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended primarily for self-propelled (mobile, mobile) transceiver radio equipment in the meter wavelength range. The essence of the claimed solution is that an in-phase rectilinear VHF whip antenna array with an adapted amplitude distribution with a length equal to half the maximum wavelength of the operating wavelength range, containing a power divider feeding four dipoles of equal length, located in series and equidistant on one axis, each of which has at its base a dielectric adapter connected to the previous dipole, while the first dipole is attached to the base of the antenna, which in turn is attached to the required supporting surface, while the power supplied to it is, according to a combined cosine distribution, unevenly divided to power each dipole of the array, each of which has a power point at the base.
EFFECT: reducing the level of the side beams of the antenna array radiation pattern while increasing the height of its placement, by adapting the ratio of the beam width and the small level of its side beams to the level of amplitudes of the currents feeding the dipoles; increasing the electromagnetic compatibility of radio devices.
