FIELD: oil collection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for cleaning reservoirs from oil and other similar substances floating on the water surface. To increase the efficiency of oil collection and increase the service life of the working element, a mesh cloth is used as a working element, and with a lower degree of adhesion, for example, in the form of a conveyor belt with through perforation, and a non-contact system for its cleaning through a sequential combination of gravity drainage, vacuum suction and aerodynamic blowing, as well as ensuring the movement of the cleaned section of the working element above the surface of the water, through the air. A device for collecting oil from the surface of water includes a conveyor, a separating unit and mechanisms that ensure operation; according to the invention, conveyor belt 1 is made in the form of a belt made of mesh material with through perforation; additionally, in oil products collection area 3, the device has a vacuum compressor unit and air slotted knife 6, the separating unit has separate containers 4, 5 and 7 for collecting oil products as a result of spontaneous drainage, vacuum suction and aerodynamic blowing. The working section of conveyor belt 1 is installed with an orientation strictly in the plane of the oil layer. Conveyor belt 1 is installed so that its cleaned section is above the water surface.

EFFECT: invention improves the efficiency of oil collection from the water surface and increases the service life of the working element.
