FIELD: agriculture; biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plant growth stimulants. A method of producing a plant growth stimulator based on the biodegradation product of paracetamol involves the enzymatic biotransformation of paracetamol by Rhodococcus ruber IEGM 77 strain at a concentration of 3.8×10-7 cells/cm3 under conditions of periodic cultivation at a temperature of 28°C and a stirring speed of 160 rpm in a mineral-salt medium RS for 20 days, followed by separation of the product obtained in the form of sediment from the culture liquid and drying it.
EFFECT: proposed method of obtaining a plant growth stimulant ensures the recycling of waste from the production of paracetamol to obtain a highly effective plant growth stimulant, which provides increased germination, germination energy, and accelerated flowering in agricultural and medicinal plants.
