FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: casting mould for producing a casting with front and rear sides from a curable casting mass contains at least one first part (2) with a first metal layer (5), forming the front side of the casting, and one second part (3) with a second metal layer (6), forming the back side of the casting. The casting cavity (4) is limited by the first and second metal layers (5, 6), which overlap at their edges. At least the first metal layer (5) can be heated by a heating device (7). At the edge of one of the metal layers (5, 6) along the perimeter there is an insulating element (21), which in the closed position of the casting mould is adjacent to the edge of the other metal layer and separates the layers (5) and (6) that are not thermally in contact with each other. The presence of element (21) between layers (5) and (6) allows the creation of individual temperature profiles on sides (2) and (3) of the mould.
EFFECT: process of polymerization of the casting mass is controlled.
