METHOD OF MODELING ASHERMAN'S SYNDROME IN RATS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G09B23/28 A61B17/42 

FIELD: medicine; experimental obstetrics; gynecology.

SUBSTANCE: uterine horns are opened along the entire length, from the funnels to the unpaired part of the uterus. Curettage of the entire endometrium is performed, then hemostasis is performed. In the opened uterine horns, 2 silicone catheters with a diameter of 2 mm are installed: catheter N1 is a drainage catheter with holes, catheter N2 is solid, serving to keep the horn cavity open and prevent overgrowth. After inserting the catheters, the horn incision is sutured with a blanket suture, and after the drainage of the discharge has stopped, the N1 drainage catheters are removed, and the N2 catheters removed through the counter-aperture are cut so that 2–3 cm remain outside the abdominal cavity; 3 days after the operation, the N2 catheters are removed.

EFFECT: method allows to completely eliminate fertility with sufficiently deep and thorough curettage, and accordingly accurately evaluate the therapeutic effect of the medicinal products and the methods of treating of this syndrome.
