FIELD: catalytic cracking.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides a reactor unit suitable for catalytic cracking of crude oil, including a separator for separating the crude oil into a low boiling point fraction and a high boiling point fraction; a first two-reactor system with two catalysts and a second two-reactor system with two catalysts, each of which produces a converted hydrocarbon effluent stream; a conventional distillation column for receiving a converted hydrocarbon effluent stream from each system and separating the converted hydrocarbon fractions into two or more hydrocarbon fractions including fractions containing one or more olefins and a treated fluid catalytic cracking feedstock; a catalyst separation tank designed to receive the effluent from each of the first and second reactors and separate it into a spent catalyst mixture and a converted hydrocarbon effluent of the second two-reactor dual-catalyst system fed to a conventional distillation column. The invention is also related to a plant option and a method for catalytic cracking of crude oil.
EFFECT: increase in the degree of conversion of crude oil into olefins, improved removal of impurities present in the feedstock, and an increase in the service life and activity of the catalyst.
