SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) using a channel. The method includes receiving a Channel Transfer Trigger (CTT) signal by the WTRU in a downlink message, and selecting a listen-before-transmit (LBT) configuration type by the WTRU to perform based on the received CTT. Additionally, the WTRU determines, in accordance with the type of LBT configuration selected, the availability of a channel for transmission and transmission of data or control information on the channel, provided that the channel is available for transmission.

EFFECT: efficient transmission of data.
