SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to form spatial areas with the presence of wireless telecommunication networks and areas where such networks are absent. A method has been proposed for focusing electromagnetic radiation in several regions of space, which consists in the fact that for each emitter of the antenna array, the amplitudes and phases of the emitted signals are determined, which together provide the required distribution of the amplitude of the electric field strength within a given region of space, and the configuration of the radiating antennas is first specified, their number and location on each of the walls of the room, the required distribution of the amplitude of the electric field strength in the room is set, the column vector of the output effect is formed, the characteristic matrix of the room is formed, a system of linear algebraic equations is formed from the characteristic matrix and the column vector of the output effect, solving which the amplitudes and phases of electromagnetic waves emitted by antennas located along the perimeter of the room are determined.

EFFECT: obtaining in the space of a room several specified areas of maximum and minimum of the electromagnetic field, thereby ensuring spatial selection of subscriber devices of wireless telecommunication networks.
