FIELD: medicine; phthisiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to increase the level of patient adherence to anti-tuberculosis therapy. Identification of a patient with destructive pulmonary tuberculosis. Informing the patient about his disease. A survey is conducted using the Morisky-Green Questionnaire (MMAS-4) and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). A computed tomographic examination of the chest organs is performed. A virtual mock-up of the lungs and a personalized tactile lung model are made. The resulting model is demonstrated during a conversation with the patient before starting anti-tuberculosis therapy. Next, the patient is given anti-tuberculosis therapy for 30 days. Then a repeat survey is carried out using the MMAS-4 questionnaire and the hospital HADS scale.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the effectiveness of anti-tuberculosis treatment by increasing the level of patient adherence to this type of therapy.
