FIELD: X-ray optics.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling the angular divergence of X-ray radiation, including influencing a diffraction element, wherein a beam of monochromatic X-ray radiation, after passing through a slit diaphragm, is fed to a diffraction element, which is a magnetically ordered crystal made of iron borate FeBO3 installed in the position of maximum diffraction reflection, and change the angular parameters of the X-ray radiation by applying an external magnetic field of varying strength to the diffraction element.
EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy.
