FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to providing communications inside a borehole. The system contains a set of lower pipe segments configured to connect to downhole tools, a lower distal end of a fibre optic cable configured to use a submersible connection for connection to downhole tools, a set of upper pipe segments configured to mechanically connect a set of lower pipe segments and surface equipment wherein the set of upper pipe segments comprises at least one upper pipe segment, an upper distal end of the fibre optic cable located uphole from the lower distal end, configured to use an uphole connector for communication with the pipeline cable the first top pipe segment in a set of pipe top segments. The fibre optic cable is located after the downhole tools are located below the surface and is connected to communicate with the downhole tools. Each top pipe segment in the set of top segments includes a corresponding conduit cable communicatively connected to adjacent conduit cables, and wherein the assembly containing each conduit cable provides a communicable connection between the fibre optic cable and the ground equipment.
EFFECT: efficiency of communication increases by reducing the number of connectors and reducing the attenuation of the transmitted signal.
