FIELD: operation of ships under ice conditions. SUBSTANCE: ship has submersible hull with vertical streamlined trunk of preset height and buoyancy to ensure required immersion of hull, required reserve of buoyancy and embarkation/debarkation through access hatch. In immersed position, ship is towed by surface vessel from which she is supplied with electric power and compressed air fed through cables and hoses.
