FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: used in geodetic works. The essence of the claimed method for determining the coordinates of a ground object is as follows. The coordinates of a ground object are determined using a robotic tacheometer and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), on the gyro-stabilized platform of which a sighting target (ST), a transceiver, a video camera, and a laser range finder are mounted, so that the optical axis of the video camera and the laser rangefinder beam are directed vertically down. The UAV is hovering over a ground object, the elevation above which is determined by a laser rangefinder. In this case, the ST is monitored using a robotic tacheometer equipped with a video camera and a tracking and detection subsystem, based on visual signs of the ST, namely: color, shape, blinking frequency of the source of electromagnetic radiation in the visible region. The ST image obtained by the tacheometer video camera undergoes digital processing. As a result, the coordinates of the ground object are calculated from the range values measured using a tacheometer, the zenith and azimuthal angles of the ST, as well as the elevation above the ground object measured using a laser rangefinder.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and reliability of determining the coordinates of ground objects.
