FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to geospatial measurements and can be used in monitoring potentially dangerous engineering objects. Essence of the method is that when monitoring a potentially hazardous object, geospatial measurements are taken to determine the spatial parameters of the outer shell of a potentially dangerous object by performing geospatial measurements, based on determination of spatial coordinates of quadcopters relative to base points by robotic electronic tacheometers and measurement of distance by laser range finder from quadcopter to outer shell of potentially dangerous object. Data taken from tacheometers are processed and deviations of geometrical parameters from the base shell formed during approximation of all points of the initial mathematical model of a potentially dangerous object are determined.

EFFECT: providing continuous monitoring of an object.
