SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for monitoring the deformation state of buildings and structures using a video hydrostatic level. The essence of the proposed method is that, along with measuring the height positions of the controlled units of buildings and structures on which the vessels of the video hydrostatic level are installed, their inclinations are also measured, and corrections are introduced into the measurement results of the altitude positions of the controlled units for the inclinations of the vessels.

EFFECT: introduction of corrections to the measured liquid levels in the vessels of a video hydrostatic level.
