FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling a photovoltaic charging station with an electrical energy storage device connected to an electrical network, ensuring the fullest possible use of the energy generated by solar modules. The control method includes: dividing the daily cycle of operation of the charging station into time intervals; determining for each of the intervals the minimum basic charge level of the storage device, ensuring normal operation of the charging station; determination during the operation of the station at the end of the current interval of forecast values of generation and consumption of electrical energy for the next future time interval; calculation during the operation of the station of the amount of energy consumed from the network at the next future time interval as the difference between the previously established basic value of the storage charge energy for the next future interval and the value of the storage energy at the end of the previous past interval and the difference between the predicted values of generation and consumption of electrical energy for next future time interval.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of solar energy use.
