FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: drilling and blasting in rocks used in various industries that use blasting in rock masses, in particular in development of minerals by surface mining. The method of installing a stemming in a well involves lowering into the well to the depth of a massif with intense fracturing a stemming made in the form of an inclined solid cylinder, the diameter of which is commensurate with the diameter of the well, and the upper and lower ends are bevelled, parallel to each other, equal and have an ellipse in cross-section. After that, the stemming is secured to a supporting structure located above the wellhead using a flexible connection attached to the edges of the upper end of an inclined solid cylinder with the side end up, made rounded in accordance with the well wall with rigid rod-shaped elements with the length of 0.1–0.15 times the well diameter evenly placed along its middle part. The upper and the lower ends of the inclined solid cylinder in cross-section have an ellipse with a major axis equal to 1.3–1.5 times the well diameter. Then the inclined solid cylinder is pulled by a flexible connection towards the wellhead until rigid rod-shaped elements are introduced into the rock, secured to the supporting structure and part of the well is filled from its upper end to the day surface with inert material.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of drilling wells by increasing reliability of adhesion between the stemming and the walls of the well.
