FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, to the field of drilling and blasting operations in rocks and can be used in various industries, using blasting operations in rock massifs, in particular during development of minerals by open method. Method of stemming installation in well includes lowering into well to depth of massif of intensive fracturing of locking element with flexible connection fixed to it. A locking element is lowered into the well at distance of 1.0–3.5 meters from the daylight surface of the massif of intense fracturing, which transverse size is commensurable with the well diameter, and the side ends are rounded in accordance with the well walls, by means of a flexible connection attached to them. Above the locking element, a stop device is installed by means of its partial introduction into the rock at an angle to the well wall in range of 45–90° with increase in the direction to the well head. Then, by means of flexible connection the locking element is pulled up to contact with the stop device and wedged. Free ends of the flexible connection are fixed on the support structure located above the well head, and the remaining part of the well is filled with inert material to the daylight surface.

EFFECT: increased reliability of stemming installation in the well and increased ability of its resistance to upward movement of gaseous detonation products.
