FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, to the field of drilling and blasting operations in rocks and can be used in various industries, using blasting operations in rock massifs, in particular to methods of well stemming during development of minerals by open method. Method includes creation of cavity by external action on section of well wall at specified depth from well head in massif with intensive fracturing. Then, a blocking element is lowered into the well, it is made in the form of a wedge, which is obtained by cutting the lower transverse end of the inclined cylinder, which is skewed at angle of 30-45° to the horizon so that one side end of the locking element is less by 30-70% of the other side end by a given depth by means of a flexible connection fixed on it. Upper smaller side end of the locking element is brought into the created cavity. Free ends of flexible connection are fixed on support structure exceeding diameter of wellhead, and space from upper transverse end of locking element to day surface is filled with inert material.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of well stemming.
