FIELD: glass industry; construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to form products from glassy materials by pulling glass tubes from the melt or from glass blocks (secondary heating) through a drawing assembly. A device for drawing glass products contains a chamber in which a cassette with at least one jumper installed. At the bottom of the chamber, there is a drawing block having at least one opening in which a core is installed. In this case, the device additionally contains a drawing mechanism configured to adjust its rotation speed, located under the chamber, and a core holder. The core holder is fixed to the cassette jumper, located at a height of at least 1/2 of the height of the chamber, which is at least 30 mm from the bottom of the chamber. In this case, the chamber diameter is chosen to be at least 1.2 times larger than the inner diameter of the drawing block. The method of drawing glass products consists of selecting the specified parameters for the outer and the inner diameters of the product, choosing the size of the drawing block opening, and calculating the outer diameter of the core with a fixed initial value of the correction factor. In this case, a test drawing is first carried out by entering glass melt heated to the working viscosity into the chamber and filling it, flowing around the cassette jumpers; after filling the chamber, the glass melt passes through the gap between the drawing block and the core forming the profile of the product and is captured by the drawing mechanism. By adjusting the rotation speed of the drawing mechanism, the specified outer diameter D3 of the product is achieved. The resulting internal diameter of the product is determined. The actual value of the correction factor is obtained and the actual value of the outer diameter of the core is determined. In this case, the outer diameter of the core with a fixed initial value of the correction factor and the actual value of the outer diameter of the core, as well as the actual value of the correction factor, are determined using the given mathematical formulas. Then the specified product is drawn again.
EFFECT: ability to manufacture various products of round cross-section using the same device with a wide range of ratios of internal to external diameter from 0.07 to 0.95 with high accuracy of geometric dimensions, with a deviation of size from the specified one of no more than 1%, without additional technological losses of glass melt and changing the tools.
