FIELD: medicine; plastic, reconstructive surgery; ophthalmic surgery; oncology.

SUBSTANCE: after resection of the tissues of the lower eyelid within the healthy tissues while preserving the conjunctival plate, a stencil of the required flap is formed according to the size of the area of the resected lower eyelid, according to which the flap is marked on the side of the resected lower eyelid in the superciliary region. Then an incision is made in the skin and subcutaneous tissue along the upper edge of the eyebrow and the upper border of the marking, maintaining the feeding pedicle in the lateral part of the eyebrow at a distance of 2 cm from the edge of hair growth, and the wound in the superciliary area is sutured. The flap on the preserved pedicle is moved to the area of the lower eyelid defect, the flap is placed on the area of the resected lower eyelid and the shape of the flap is corrected while simultaneously fixing it to the edges of the wound using separate interrupted sutures using Prolene 5/0 thread. After the flap has healed, the pedicle of the flap is cut off.

EFFECT: method reduces the time of reconstruction of the lower eyelid through the use of flaps obtained from the superciliary tissue on the side of the surgical field according to the stencil shape of the lesion field on the lower eyelid; provides a good cosmetic effect and prevents secondary scar contraction of the flap.
